My profile title (Teaching Basketball Skills, Sharing Life's Lessons) pretty much sums up who I am and what I am about. The game of basketball has been a part of my life since I was seven years old. I truly love to watch, play, and learn about the game of basketball- I heart basketball!!! Nevertheless, I personally view the game as a part of my life and NOT my life. Through basketball, I have been afforded many opportunities and learned many things that have helped me in my life outside of basketball. I have learned accountability, hard work, responsibility, determination, perseverance, the joys of winning, and the heartache of losing.
In terms of my basketball background, I played Division I basketball at Bucknell University, professionally in Germany, and have been coaching Middle School and High School basketball in Washington, D.C. for the past 4 years. I think my greatest attribute is that I am at the core, concerned about the development of the kid not just as a player but as a person - Teaching Basketball Skills, Sharing Life's Lessons!
