I'm a Senior Solutions Architect, Full-Stack Engineer, and Technical Co-Founder with 15+ years architecting and building web applications, AI-enabled platforms, and data visualizations across federal government, startups, and non-profits. I've translated complex technical concepts into polished software for clients ranging from the U.S. Army to the Campaign for College Opportunity to American Public Media, working across the full stack (React, Next.js, Python, Node.js, cloud infrastructure) with a focus on AI/ML integration, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows.

My academic foundation is in the sciences. I graduated Summa Cum Laude in Integrated Life Sciences (Pre-Medical) from Kent State, conducted neurobiological and virology research at the PhD lab level, and was accepted into medical school before choosing a career in technology.

I also hold a Master's in Education and bring nearly a decade of teaching and tutoring experience. Formal pedagogical training combined with deep technical knowledge shapes how I work: I care about genuine comprehension, not surface familiarity. I prepare thoroughly, meet students where they are, and find the angle that makes something actually click.

I'm genuinely concerned about AI's trajectory and believe helping more people understand what these systems actually do is one of the most important things we can do right now. I am a back end web developer with extensive knowledge of WordPress, web server architecture, PHP, MVC frameworks, MySQL database design, SQL, jQuery, Git, API integrations (including Facebook, MailChimp, Mandrill, Constant Contact, Stripe, Balanced Payments, etc.), execution, QA testing, troubleshooting (also familiar with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Photoshop). My brother and I built a web development business together from the ground up and have been living off of the earnings from the WordPress and custom websites that we've built for multi-million dollar businesses and individual clients for the past 5 years. Benjamin is so confident with his abilities. It was educational just to see how he structured the way that he thought about the problem that I brought to him to solve.
