Hi! I'm Denys, a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), where I earned two Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Statistics. I have several years of university-level tutoring experience, helping hundreds of students succeed in challenging mathematics, statistics, and chemistry courses.

As a tutor at UIUC's Office of Minority Student Affairs, I worked with college students in Calculus I–III, Linear Algebra, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry. Through individual and group tutoring sessions, I've learned how to adapt my teaching style to students with different backgrounds and learning goals. My approach focuses on building a deep understanding of concepts rather than simply memorizing formulas. I break complex problems into clear, manageable steps and help students develop the confidence to solve them independently.

Alongside teaching, I conducted scientific research in Professor Wilfred van der Donk's laboratory at UIUC, gaining hands-on experience in analytical chemistry and biochemistry. My background in statistics also allows me to explain mathematical and statistical concepts through practical examples, connecting theory to real-world applications.

Whether you're preparing for an important exam, struggling with homework, or aiming for an A, I'm here to help. I work with high school and college students in General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Algebra, Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Statistics. My goal is not just to help you improve your grades, but to make learning more intuitive, engaging, and rewarding. I look forward to working with you!
