Hello! I'm Cynthia, and I graduated from WashU in St. Louis in 2021 with a 4.0 GPA and a BS in Neuroscience, minor in Spanish. I took two gap years, working as a medical assistant then as a research assistant, before applying to medical school.
I scored 94th percentile on the MCAT, received 13 interviews, and was ultimately accepted to 10 schools out of those 13 interviews. I'm currently a medical student at a top 5 medical school, and I have earned Distinction (scoring >85% across NBME shelf exams) during my clerkship year and scored competitively on Step 2. I am passionate about passing forward the lessons I have learned through the process of applying to and attending medical school! I have worked with many students in essay drafting/editing (AMCAS Personal Statement, W&A section, secondaries, etc.), interview preparation (Traditional open/closed, MMI), medical school application coaching, and NBME/USMLE Step 2 preparation.
