I am Pauline, and I live in Washington, DC. I hold a PhD in Communication Studies and have over 10 years of university-level teaching experience in Communication. As a Professor of Digital and Strategic Communications, I specialize in teaching and practicing public relations, advertising, strategic and corporate communication as well as digital communication. Throughout my career, I have passionately taught, supervised, and mentored undergraduate and postgraduate students in these areas while helping them develop strong academic, professional, and research skills.
My expertise includes developing public relations strategies and stakeholder engagement skills; branding and brand promotion; enhancing executive communication, client relations, crisis communication, organizational reputation management, and community relations. I also consult with organizations to improve stakeholder relationships and enhance communication strategies that support organizational goals and protect corporate reputation.
In research I guide students through every stage of the research process. I help them develop strong research topics, refine research objectives/questions, conduct literature reviews, and apply both qualitative and quantitative research methods effectively. I also support clients in academic writing, editing, proofreading, presentations, and thesis or dissertation development. My goal is to help produce high-quality academic work while developing independent research and analytical skills.
In addition to university-level teaching, I tutor K–12 students in ELA and Math. I focus on helping students build strong foundational skills in grammar, essay writing and basic mathematics. As a substitute teacher in Washington, DC, I have taught in diverse classroom settings. Whether you need help with communication courses, research projects, writing assignments, professional communication, or foundational K–12 skills, I am committed to helping you succeed through personalized instruction and practical guidance.
