Hi there, I'm David! I graduated cum laude from Harvard University with a Bachelor's degree in Government, and a minor in Russian and Eastern European studies, and am currently pursuing my Master's degree at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service. Hi there, I'm David! I graduated cum laude from Harvard University with a Bachelor's degree in Government, and a minor in Russian and Eastern European studies, and am currently pursuing my Master's degree at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service. Throughout college, I've had the pleasure of tutoring and mentoring high school students seeking acceptances into T50 schools in the US, and am proud to have helped students refine their voice and essays in their college applications. I believe that the first step to a strong college application starts with a conversation around your genuine interests and goals, then we work our way into making sure that your extracurriculars, essays, and all materials shape up to a strong narrative. I will also support you with interview prep as you navigate admissions and interviews.

I have had both independent and formal tutoring experience over the past four and a half years, and look forward to working with you directly to understand your needs and ambitions. As an independent tutor for three years, I provided coaching to over two dozen high school students based in Southern California-area schools, helping them with their personal statements, extracurricular narratives, and interviews. As a formal tutor with Princeton Tutoring for the past two years, I have helped students navigate both college and grad school applications. My students have received acceptances to Harvard, Duke, Cornell, UC Berkeley, UCLA, Georgetown, Yale, and UT Austin, among others. My own career has spanned across the public and private sector, with my roles primarily focusing on writing, international relations, and business.
