I am currently a J.D. candidate at Howard University School of Law, where I have developed strong analytical, reading, and writing skills through rigorous legal training. I earned my undergraduate degree in philosophy from the University of Georgia, which strengthened my ability to think critically, communicate clearly, and approach problems from multiple perspectives. My academic background has equipped me to support students in reading comprehension, writing, and foundational academic skills, as well as early math and science concepts.

I have prior experience working as a tutor at a Kumon Learning Center, where I supported elementary and middle school students in developing foundational skills in reading and mathematics. In this role, I worked one-on-one with students at varying skill levels, helping them build confidence, improve accuracy, and develop consistent study habits.

My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I focus on building a strong foundation while encouraging students to think independently and engage with the material in a meaningful way. I strive to create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their abilities. Looking forward to supporting the needs of you and your student today!

Approved Subjects

Drawing

Drawing

I have a strong background in visual arts, including a minor in the subject during my undergraduate studies, where I developed skills in printmaking, etching, and working across multiple media such as charcoal, pencil, and pen. My training emphasized foundational techniques like directional line work, contrast, and value to create depth and composition. I have spent years practicing and refining these skills, allowing me to guide students in both technical development and creative expression. I focus on helping students build confidence in their artistic abilities while strengthening their understanding of core visual principles.
Essay Writing

Essay Writing

I have been a strong writer for many years, with extensive experience developing essays in both academic and professional settings. As a current law student, I have strengthened my legal writing, analytical writing, and persuasive writing skills through rigorous coursework, and I have also gained professional writing experience through drafting and research work for a judge. My undergraduate philosophy background further refined my ability to construct clear arguments, think critically, and write with precision. I help students improve organization, clarity, and argument development while building the confidence needed to become stronger, more effective writers.
