I'm Ander, a law student at GW Law. I graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a BA in Political Science and Public Health. I began tutoring privately in high school and while at JHU, was hired by the school to tutor undergraduates in Calculus II. I chose to tutor because I found my Calculus II group tutoring session to be a highlight of my freshman year and I felt that other students deserved a similar fun, personalized learning experienced to supplement lectures. I'm flexible, easygoing, and patient with students as I understand what it's like to be in their position.
I tutored Calculus II to small groups for two years through JHU's PILOT program with one session per week with students and one session per week with my other tutors refreshing the material. I scored a 1570 on the SAT (800 math section) and a 740 LSAT score through exclusively self-study. I understand how these tests operate and am excited to help other students master them.
