With a background in high-level federal policy, I don’t just teach formulas—I teach you how to think like an economist. Whether you are struggling with supply and demand shifters, fiscal policy multipliers, or hypothesis testing in statistics, I provide the structured guidance you need to excel in your coursework and exams. I am particularly effective with undergraduate and graduate students who need to translate complex data into clear, persuasive narratives.
A Global Perspective on Learning
My commitment to teaching began as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Tanzania, where I taught secondary school Physics. That experience taught me how to break down the most intimidating concepts into manageable, logical steps. I mainly taught in Swahili, so English isn't too bad by comparison!
A Spirit of Perseverance
I believe the best learning happens when you aren't afraid of the challenge. I bring the same grit to my tutoring that I used to thorough-hike the entire Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada. We will stay the course until the material clicks and you feel confident in your skills.
Subjects of Expertise:
