Hello! I am currently an undergraduate sophomore at Georgetown university. I am majoring in Mathematics (B.S.) and minoring in Computer Science with a 3.65/4.0 GPA. My previous math experience includes AP Calculus BC in high school as well as Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Intro to Proofs at GU. I volunteered as a Schoolhouse SAT Math Tutor for high school juniors and seniors and have experience of tutoring styles as I myself was a tutee. I scored a 780/800 on the older, paper SAT Math Exam in 2021 as a high school sophomore. In high school I have also volunteered as a Peer Tutor in subjects like Math, Chemistry, and Physics via one-on-one tutoring from my sophomore to senior year in high school. I graduated in 2024 with a 4.0/4.0 GPA. Other related tutoring experience includes Schoolhouse College Application tutor and Peer Advisor for incoming Chemistry students, where I guided review sessions before exams.
My tutoring style includes lecturing on topics, reviewing and practicing missed questions and ideas, and utilizing practice questions to help students.
