I'm Sebastian, and I graduated with a degree in Spanish Language and Literature from the Technological University of Pereira in Colombia. I have extensive knowledge and understanding of the lexical concepts specific to different Spanish-speaking countries.
I am a skilled teacher with ten years of experience, bringing innovation to my classes and dedication to my students. Both as a classroom teacher and long-term substitute teacher, I have experience planning and implementing lessons, adapting plans to the needs of students, and applying differentiate learning.
I am eager to continue my career as a teacher using my skills, while sharing my culture and language with learners. I have been a long-term substitute for Fourth Grade, a physical education teacher, as well as a Spanish teacher. The various positions afforded me the opportunity to work with all grades, from Kindergarten through Eleventh grade. In my classes, I strive to make sure all students feel comfortable and enjoy learning, through didactic lessons and encouraging collaborative work. My previous students describe me as an innovator, using play as a key strategy in not only classroom learning, but also personal development.
