I am a graduate of Middlebury College, where I earned a B.A. in Political Science and English and graduated summa cum laude. My academic background emphasizes close reading, analytical writing, and argumentation, and I have extensive experience working with complex texts in literature, history, and political theory. In addition to my academic training, I currently work in a professional policy research environment, which informs my emphasis on clarity, structure, and precision in writing and verbal reasoning.

I have over five years of tutoring experience working one-on-one with middle school, high school, and college-level students in English literature, writing, and the social sciences. My tutoring has taken place primarily in individualized settings, where I tailor sessions to each student’s goals and learning style. I have also worked with students with dyslexia and other learning differences, and I emphasize strategies that support reading comprehension, organization, and confidence alongside content mastery.

My approach focuses on helping students understand how strong arguments are built, how to read actively and efficiently, and how to express ideas clearly in writing.
