I graduated cum laude from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Finance and have completed over 3,000 hours of tutoring in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Finance, AP Literature and applied academic projects.
Economics is often highly theoretical, which can make it feel abstract or intimidating. My approach focuses on making concepts feel logical and approachable by using contemporary explanations, real-world examples, and structured problem-solving methods. I began tutoring in college after noticing how many students struggled with economics, starting with members of our football team, and quickly discovered a strong ability to break down complex material into intuitive explanations that resonate with students.
In addition to tutoring, I support students with competitive college admissions, advanced research, machine learning and AI projects, data analysis, full-stack web app development, and investor pitch decks. I’ve mentored students through internships involving automation, UI-integrated platforms, and thesis work, allowing me to support students pursuing more advanced or interdisciplinary goals.
While I specialize in Macroeconomics (including AP Microeconomics, AP Macroeconomics, Principles of Economics, and Intermediate Economics), I’m also happy to assist with related finance or writing-based coursework. Each session is tailored to the student’s learning style and academic goals, and I aim to make every lesson both productive and enjoyable.
Please don't be hesitant to contact me with any questions you might have. Notes taken during each session will be provided afterwards and I highly encourage students to send any materials in advance so I can prepare thoroughly.
If you’re interested in working together, feel free to reach out. I'd love to help!
