I am a second-year medical student at Howard University College of Medicine with a strong foundation in the sciences. I graduated cum laude from The George Washington University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, where I completed rigorous coursework in biology, chemistry, physics, and psychology. My academic journey has given me both depth and breadth in the life sciences, and I understand firsthand the challenges that come with mastering these subjects.

During my undergraduate years, I worked as a tutor for multiple biology courses, supporting students in subjects such as cell biology, molecular biology, and neuroscience. I primarily tutored college-level students in one-on-one and small-group formats, tailoring my teaching style to each learner’s needs. My approach emphasizes breaking down complex material into clear, manageable steps and connecting abstract concepts to real-world applications—an approach that consistently helped my students build confidence and improve their academic performance.

While much of my tutoring experience has been with college students, I am also eager to work with high school and middle school students who are developing their foundations in math and science. Having recently navigated the transition from middle school to advanced coursework myself, I understand the importance of building strong fundamentals early on. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to foster lasting understanding and problem-solving skills that will serve them throughout their academic journeys.
