My educational background has provided me with a strong, interdisciplinary foundation ideal for tutoring in economics, development studies, and related quantitative fields. I hold a Master of Science in Agriculture and Resource Economics from the University of Maryland and a Master of Arts in Development from Azim Premji University in India. My undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in Physics, which equipped me with a rigorous analytical mindset. My graduate coursework is extensive, covering applied econometrics, microeconomic analysis, machine learning in R, and the political economy of development, directly supporting my ability to teach these complex subjects.

I have gained substantial teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland for the course "World Hunger, Population, and Food Supplies" over three semesters (Fall 2022, Fall 2023, Spring 2024). In this role, I worked directly with undergraduate students in a university classroom setting, assisting them with understanding course material, leading discussion sections, and providing one-on-one support. My approach is informed by my hands-on research experience managing large projects and data collection, which allows me to use real-world examples to make theoretical concepts clear and engaging for students.

My professional research roles, such as at The Good Business Lab where I led project design and data collection, have honed my skills in explaining intricate research methods and statistical concepts using programming languages like Stata, R, and Python. This blend of formal teaching experience, practical application, and deep technical knowledge allows me to effectively tutor students at the undergraduate level, tailoring my methods to their individual needs to ensure they grasp both the theoretical and applied aspects of the subject matter.
