I hold a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s in Legislative Affairs from a top university in Washington, D.C., as well as a Juris Doctor. My academic and professional background gives me a strong foundation in law, criminal justice, and American government, with a focus on how policy is developed and applied in real-world settings. I currently serve as an Army Budget Legislative Liaison in the United States Senate, where I work at the intersection of defense policy, law, and federal appropriations. My experience bridges the courtroom, the classroom, and the halls of Congress—offering students unique insight into both legal theory and legislative process.

I’ve mentored and taught students across different stages—high school, college, graduate school, and early career professionals—through one-on-one tutoring, group workshops, and leadership development programs. I’ve also coached students preparing for law school, supported mock trial and debate programs, and helped others sharpen their writing, critical thinking, and public speaking skills. My tutoring approach is relational and practical: I tailor lessons to each student’s goals and learning style, using real-world examples and structured feedback to build both competence and confidence.

Whether you’re tackling a legal writing assignment, preparing for a civics exam, or trying to understand the criminal justice system or how Congress works, I provide clear, engaging instruction grounded in experience. My goal is to make complex topics accessible, relevant, and empowering—so students walk away not just with answers, but with understanding.

Criminal Justice

I hold a Juris Doctor and have served as a U.S. Army Military Police officer since 2016, with federal training in law enforcement, investigations, and military justice. I previously commanded a unit of 163 law enforcement professionals, overseeing operations ranging from patrol duties to complex investigative work. My combined experience in criminal law and hands-on policing gives me a deep understanding of how justice systems function in both theory and practice. I’m passionate about helping students build real-world understanding of criminal justice concepts through clear, practical instruction.
