Hi, I'm Zach! I am a senior dual MS in Biological Science/BS in Neuroscience major, music minor at GWU. I am currently applying for graduate school for a Phd in Neuroscience. I have been tutoring with GWU Academic Commons and privately for the last two and half years. I am CRLA certified which means that I have had additional training and evaluation on how to best communicate the subject matter to the students I teach and facilitate active learning. I have also spent the last three summers working as an educational assistant for precollege programs with junior and senior high students. Furthermore, I have experience working in one on one, group, and classroom settings.

I specialize in STEM related topics including biology, chemistry, physics, statistics, and math. I have also taught in associated subjects such as neuroscience and anatomy & physiology.

I find it incredibly rewarding to help others learn, whether it's by meticulously reviewing each aspect of the material or providing students with that extra bit of insight that makes everything click.
It's fulfilling to see someone move from confusion to clarity, knowing that I played a part in their understanding.
