As a Rhodes Scholar with a J.D. from Yale Law School, a Ph.D. in Rhetoric from UC Berkeley, and a Master’s degree from Oxford University, I bring a world-class academic background and a deep passion for tutoring. I have over 18 years of experience as a professional tutor, helping students achieve outstanding results on the SAT, ACT, GRE, LSAT, and a wide range of college, graduate, and law school subjects. I have worked for multiple elite tutoring companies and have over a decade of experience as a college admissions advisor and career counselor, successfully guiding students through Ivy League undergraduate and graduate admissions, as well as T14 law school admissions. My teaching background includes leading one-on-one tutorial courses at Oxford, where I specialized in the social sciences and humanities, and teaching small, writing-intensive seminars at UC Berkeley. At UC Berkeley, I earned a certificate in pedagogy, qualifying me to teach at the university level.

I believe in intensive, one-on-one tutoring and advising, using the Socratic method and active student engagement to foster critical thinking and mastery of material. While I specialize in personalized instruction, I am also experienced in teaching small groups and delivering lectures.

In addition to my teaching experience, I am an accomplished writer and editor. My work has been recognized with prestigious honors, including the Truman Scholarship, Mellon Fellowship, and Equal Justice Works Fellowship. My scholarship has been published in top law and academic journals. Beyond tutoring and admissions consulting, I am a leading civil and human rights litigator, having successfully litigated the first travel ban case, a major case protecting DACA recipients, and a successful challenge to the attempted rescission of birthright citizenship.

Whether you need expert tutoring, strategic college or graduate school admissions guidance, or career coaching in law and policy, I am committed to helping you achieve your highest academic and professional goal
