I am a student at New York University at The Tisch School of the Arts earning a BFA in Theatre. I have trained at the Playwrights Horizons Theatre School, studying text-based acting approaches with influences from acting methodists including Sanford Meisner, Jerzy Grotowski, Konstantin Stanislavski, and Mary Overlie. This fall I will be continuing my acting training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) in London. The training will primarily focus on Shakespeare and Elizabethan acting methods and the future of classical works in the ever-progressing contemporary entertainment industry. I want to share what I have learned thus far in my acting experiences and training with students looking to continue their acting journeys into their collegiate careers.
Through my college audition experience, I came to understand the ins and outs of the college audition process and the steps a student needs to take to have their best chance at a spot in a top collegiate acting program. In my time spent in acting studios at NYU, I understand what makes a performance successful and have learned the best approaches to bring out any actor's best performance.
