Hello! I’m Emilee, a Dartmouth graduate, Fulbright Scholar, and 520 (98th percentile) MCAT scorer, currently working in genetics research at Columbia University’s ALS Center.

I bring a blend of rigorous academic training and hands-on teaching experience. At Dartmouth, I majored in Anthropology with a strong pre-med foundation (organic chemistry, biochemistry, physics, and more) while conducting research on healthcare disparities. I’ve published work in public health and collaborated with the U.S. Department of State and ministries of health on global health projects.

I also have extensive mentoring and teaching experience. As Internal Training Director for Dartmouth EMS, I led weekly sessions on clinical skills for EMTs-in-training. I’ve mentored first-generation college students and coordinated projects in Dartmouth’s Women in Science Program, helping peers navigate research and academics. These roles taught me to explain complex material clearly and support students with patience and encouragement.

MCAT Tutoring: I specialize in high-yield content review, strategy, and pacing, tailoring study plans to each student’s needs. With balanced strengths across all sections, I help students tackle CARS and Psych/Soc in particular by breaking them into approachable steps.

College Admissions Essays: Having earned competitive fellowships like Fulbright, I know what makes an essay stand out. I guide students through brainstorming, drafting, and revision, offering line-by-line feedback to sharpen clarity, flow, and voice.

In every session, my focus is on building both skill and confidence. Whether you’re preparing for the MCAT or crafting admissions essays, I’d love to help you achieve your goals!

Anthropology

Anthropology

I graduated from Dartmouth with a degree in Anthropology, where my research focused on healthcare disparities and cultural perspectives on medicine. I received High Honors for my senior thesis, which was awarded Best Biological Anthropology Thesis and combined quantitative analysis with ethnographic interviews. I’ve also conducted global health research abroad, including collaborations with ministries of health and the U.S. Department of State. I enjoy helping students connect anthropological theory to real-world examples and strengthen both their analytical and writing skills.
College Counseling

College Counseling

As a Dartmouth graduate and Fulbright Scholar, I know what makes college and fellowship applications stand out. I’ve spent the past four years tutoring students applying to competitive colleges, guiding them through brainstorming, drafting, and revising essays. Having earned admission to Dartmouth, selective study abroad programs, and Fulbright myself, I bring first-hand insight into what highly competitive committees look for. My goal is to help students craft essays that reflect who they are while meeting the highest standards of writing and presentation.
MCAT

MCAT

I scored in the 98th percentile (520) on the MCAT on my first attempt after just six weeks of intensive, self-guided study. I’ve tutored Dartmouth peers and first-generation college students, helping them master high-yield content and build confidence across all sections. My own preparation included self-studying Physics II, Psych/Soc, Genetics, and Physiology, so I understand how to guide students who need to self-teach material they haven’t taken in class. I specialize in breaking down complex topics into approachable steps, with particular strength in CARS and Psych/Soc.
Personal Statements

Personal Statements

I’m a Dartmouth graduate and Fulbright recipient with experience guiding students through competitive college and fellowship applications. I’ve received multiple grants for study abroad and academic research, including one that funded my MCAT preparation. As a former State Department intern and experienced essay tutor, I bring insight into crafting compelling, goal-driven personal statements. I’ve helped students strengthen their college applications from start to finish, and I’m passionate about helping them tell their stories with clarity and confidence.
