Hi! My name is Rose, and I'm a sophomore at Georgetown studying International Political Economy in the School of Foreign Service. I've taken coursework in calculus, economics, English, Spanish, and German (among others) and have provided professional and informal tutoring in these areas. For the past few years, I have worked as an organizational, Spanish, and Algebra tutor for high schoolers, a bilingual tutor in English and math for Spanish-speaking elementary schoolers. I also earned a 35 on the ACT (36 in math) and a 1550 on the SAT and was a National Merit Scholar, allowing me to help students improve their own ACT and SAT scores in English, Reading and Math. Additionally, I have acted as a college admissions essay editor and have helped students get into Johns Hopkins University, Washington University in St. Louis, and more. As a tutor, I emphasize building trust with students and their parents alike and specialize in tailoring my tutoring strategies to each student's academic, life balance, and professional goals.
