*** NOW SCHEDULING FOR SUMMER 2026 ***
Hi! I am an Elementary Teacher in Fairfax County Public Schools and I specialize in helping new readers master decoding, fluency, and comprehension. This year, several of my students grew 2–3 reading grade levels! I have a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Learning from The George Washington University and an active Teaching License in the state of Virginia.
I am a certified Learning Disabilities Teacher and teach K-6 students with dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning differences to help them become more confident readers. I use research-based instruction to support skills such as phonics, decoding, fluency, comprehension, and writing, while tailoring lessons to each child’s individual learning style and needs. My goal is not only to strengthen foundational reading skills, but also to help students feel encouraged, capable, and motivated to learn. I regularly communicate with parents about progress and provide strategies and activities that can be used at home to help reinforce skills between sessions.
