Hello! My name is Megan, and I was a special education teacher for 7.5 years before becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a public school. Stepping away from my role in the classroom has reminded me just how much I love teaching children to read!

Using evidence-based Science of Reading principles, I provide engaging, individualized instruction that helps students build strong foundational reading skills and confidence. Whether your child is just beginning to read, needs extra support with phonics and decoding, or is struggling to become a fluent reader, I tailor each lesson to meet their unique learning needs.

My background in special education and behavior analysis allows me to create a positive, supportive learning environment while using strategies that keep students motivated and successful. I believe every child can become a confident reader with the right instruction, patience, and encouragement.
I look forward to helping your child develop the skills—and the love of reading—that will benefit them for years to come!
