I graduated with High Distinction from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. My tutoring experience began in high school, where I volunteered as a tutor for elementary and middle school students in math, science, English, and Spanish. Through this experience, I worked one-on-one with students to help them understand classroom material and complete assignments.
At the University of Rochester, I studied Mechanical Engineering and served as a teaching assistant for courses including Solid Mechanics, Dynamics, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Mechanical Design, and Advanced Mechanical Design. In these roles, I helped students understand course concepts, work through problems, and prepare for exams. In addition to these subjects, I have experience with AP Physics C, AP Calculus AB, robotics, introductory programming, and computer-aided design software including Fusion 360, SolidWorks, and Siemens NX. My teaching experience includes both one-on-one tutoring and group instruction.
I am comfortable helping students with learning new concepts, homework guidance, and test preparation. I also provide interview preparation and resume review services. My goal is to help students succeed in the classroom by addressing gaps in understanding and sharing study and test-taking strategies that have helped me throughout my academic and professional career.
