Dr. David attended Connecticut College and he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. He also attended City College of New York where he earned an M.A. in Science Education with a concentration in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. He also attended Chaminade University of Honolulu where he graduated with a M.S. in Educational Administration. Dr. David earned his Doctoral Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Connecticut University. He wrote and published his dissertation which was a qualitative study focusing on the implementation of the Next Generation Science Standards by middle school science teachers.
Dr. David has been teaching for 23 years and he is currently teaching high school physics. Dr. David has taught earth science, environmental science, biology and astronomy. His classes and tutoring sessions focus on helping students to become more accelerated and fluent with engineering skills, critical thinking, problem solving, scientific research, scientific communication, scientific modeling and science process skills. Dr. David offers a weekly physics class which helps students acquire the basics so that they can excel in regular physics or advanced placement physics. Dr. David hosts weekly classes in earth science. One on one tutoring is also available. Dr. David is extremely patient, friendly and committed to helping students learn and to achieve their scholastic goals.
