I currently work at Wethersfield High School as a paraprofessional assisting students with special needs that are in mainstream math and science classes. I am looking for opportunities to help high school students in science and math. I currently work at Wethersfield High School as a paraprofessional assisting students with special needs that are in mainstream math and science classes. Most of my work day is spent explaining subject matter in the classroom then tutoring the students on the subjects in resource periods. I am very "in tune" to math and science classes as they are currently being taught at the high school level. I also have years of experience as a trainer and mentor in the corporate world where I have successfully applied my methods to tutoring high school students.
I also focus my time on motivating the student as well as tutoring. Tutoring and motivating are both necessary for the student to succeed and must be presented simultaneously.
My tutoring methods will create a low stress, productive, interactive, and rewarding experience for the student and the parent.
