In school, I excelled in History and English. I was awarded the Best Critical Thinker award out of my class in High School out of over 250 people. At university, I took various Literature and Government related courses.
With my acting training, I have developed powerful skills in communication and public speaking.
I have a vast knowledge of history. Especially U.S. History, Ancient Greece, and Ancient Rome. In terms of English, I am familiar with the typical high school reading canon and was in Honors and AP courses for English and History.
I am freshly out of college and so I can relate to and meet students in high school and college at their level.
In the Theatre world, I have worked professionally not only as an actor but also as a Stage Manager, Director, Producer, etc. In my time, I have worked with countless kids ranging from 5 years old - 18 years old. I have stage managed a show with over 40 elementary, middle and high school-aged students and was able to effectively positively benefit their lives and I will remember those kids the rest of my life.
Because of my theatre experience I have a multitude of exercises and techniques to unlock your speaking voice and confidence. I can give you a multitude of tools to use and fall back on in the nerve-racking social, classroom, and public speaking situations like having to read a section of a book out loud in class or performing a presentation in front of the whole class.
