Hello my name is Noelle and I've been tutoring chemistry for the past three years. I have obtained an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry (Magna Cum Laude, 3.8) and am currently pursuing a masters degree in Forensic Science. My tutoring specializes in general chemistry taught at either the high school, AP, or college level. Chemistry can be a tricky subject to learn which is why I believe in providing graphics and diagrams along with my teaching to help the student fully understand the material with confidence. My philosophy as a tutor is to act as a supplemental aid to your coursework, helping to answer specific problems a student has. I work best when students have a certain subject or question in mind they need help with so that I can target the exact steps where they are struggling. I am also more than willing to help review entire subjects if a particular topic was especially challenging.
I have experience tutoring both in person and fully online through local and virtual platforms. At this time, I can only offer fully online tutoring as I don't have reliable transportation. However, just because I can only offer virtual tutoring does not take away from the quality or standards of tutoring I uphold for myself as an instructor.
For scheduling, since I am a full time graduate student, I am generally availability during the evenings on weekdays or all day weekends (all in EST). If those times are difficult for you to attend, please send me a message and I'll be happy to find a session time outside my normal hours that works for both of us. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have about tutoring, scheduling, or other concerns. Thank you and I look forward to strengthening your knowledge of chemistry.
