I am a higher education administrator with a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and minors in Theatre and Speech Communications from York College of PA and a Master's degree in Counseling & College Student Personnel from Shippensburg University. In my spare time, I am a member of a local theatre board and have performed in over 25 musical/play productions.
I have taught a First-Year Experience (FYE) course that introduced students to a small, seminar-style course, that promotes intensive intellectual questioning and develops a foundation in core skills essentials to meet the rigorous curricular demands of the previous institution that I worked for. The FYE developed writing and critical reading skills that assisted students with the education and emotional transition to college.

As a public relations major and speech communications minor, and as a former graduate student, writing and public speaking were a large portion of my curriculum. As a current higher education administrator that works in prevention education, I deliver many training sessions for faculty, staff, students, and community partners. I am very well-versed in the public speaking and writing and look forward to helping you with your goals.

I have over 20 years experience performing in the arts (theatre, film, dance), and I have also taken many courses in theatre and the arts that have provided me with the academic understanding of arts. I have also had the opportunity to direct several productions including: To Kill a Mockingbird.
