Bio

I have been teaching and coaching for many years in the Waterbury school system and outside. I have also been a summer camp counselor with kids ranging from 5-13 years old. I am very qualified and enthusiastic about my subject areas and can also help with reading and writing. I would be honored to have the opportunity to work with your student and help them succeed academically in any way possible. Thanks.

I have been teaching Social Studies for the past four years. I have a CT Social Studies certification for grade 7-12, and I truly enjoy making this subject interesting to all students.
Baseball

I have been a baseball coach for Wilby HS in Waterbury for the past two seasons. I was the hitting coach at Woodland HS prior to that. I also played baseball at Wingate University and Western New England College.
Basketball

I have been a referee in the Town Plot Basketball High School League for nine years. I have also coached in this league for two years. I played basketball inside and outside of high school for many years as well.

I have been coaching football at the high school level for nine years. I was a head coach at the high school level, and I am currently a running back coach at Post University.
Geography

Geography

During undergrad, I minored in Geography. Over the past four years, I have been instituting geography into every lesson that I have been teaching, as I believe that this subject goes hand-in-hand with the study of the past.
Government & Politics

Government & Politics

As I have been teaching 7th graders over the past four years, civics and government has become a very important aspect of my curriculum. The Constitution is a major focus of my lessons as I move through the year. In order to understand the United States, it is important to understand its government and politics.
Psychology

Prior to declaring as a History major and Geography minor, I went through school as a Psychology major. It has always been a passion and interest of mine throughout my college and teaching career. Psychology is a very important part of education and the Social Sciences as well.
