I am a passionate and dedicated tutor with a strong educational background in English and Psychology, holding two associate degrees in these fields. I am currently completing my Bachelor’s in English for Secondary Education at Grand Canyon University, with one year left until graduation. My coursework and training have deepened my understanding of effective teaching strategies and how to support diverse learners, which I apply both in tutoring and classroom settings.

My tutoring experience spans a variety of ages and educational levels. While earning my first associate degree, I worked as an English tutor at NVCC, assisting college students with reading, writing, and comprehension, and collaborating with students from science and math courses to provide interdisciplinary support. Additionally, as a paraprofessional in an elementary-middle school, I work closely with teachers to support students academically, helping them build confidence, strengthen skills, and reach measurable progress.

I approach tutoring with patience, flexibility, and personalized strategies, tailoring lessons to each student’s learning style and needs. My goal is not only to help students succeed academically but also to inspire a love of learning and self-confidence. Whether online or in-person, I strive to create a supportive, structured environment where students feel encouraged, challenged, and fully capable of achieving their best.
