My name is Will B., and I’m a pre-med student at Trinity College, double majoring in Neuroscience and Music. I’m currently involved in clinical research in both neurology and molecular biology, where I’ve developed a strong foundation in scientific thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving. These skills directly inform how I tutor—breaking down complex concepts into manageable, understandable parts and helping students approach their work with clarity and confidence.

I’ve tutored students one-on-one in subjects such as biology, chemistry, psychology, and algebra. My approach focuses on active recall, visual learning tools, and real-world applications to help students strengthen their understanding and memory. In addition to my academic tutoring, I’ve led mental health education initiatives and peer workshops, which have shaped the way I support students with empathy and patience, especially when they’re feeling overwhelmed or discouraged.

Outside of academics, I’m also a dedicated musician—trained as both an organist and pianist—and have given private piano lessons to younger students. Teaching music has sharpened my ability to guide students step by step and adapt to different learning styles. Whether it’s tackling topics like the nervous system or stoichiometry, I aim to meet each student where they are and support their learning journey with structure, encouragement, and care.
