Hi there. My name is Alina, and I’m an Elementary Ed. Certified teacher. I’m specialized in English, Spanish, and Math for all Elementary School levels, with four years of teaching experience. I also have a Bachelors's Degree in Computer Science and a Master's degree In Elementary Ed. focused on bilingual education.

I will be happy to help your child maintain an active learning habit after school. Whether you want to close the gap with your current level or advance proactively, I provide personalized, dynamic, and very productive lessons.

Before becoming a certified teacher, I got my Bachelors's Degree in Computer Science. I also worked as an IT specialist for 2 years. This background is very rich in Math topics. So I can not only handle Math topics well, but I can also “speak math” in a very simple way, very fit for Elementary Ed levels.

I am an English-as-second-language learner myself, as I grew up in a Spanish speaking country. So my approach to teaching English is to build strong basics, and build up from there. I put special attention to phonetics and reading.

I am a natively proficient in Spanish, reading, writing and speaking. I also worked as a professional in a Spanish speaking country. So I can provide my lessons for both English and Spanish, interchangeably.

I provide Phonics lessons on a daily basis as an Elementary Bilingual teacher. I also specialize in students that are new to speaking English. So I have good experience with customizing lessons that focus in phonics and reading.
