My name is André, I was born in 1991 and raised in North Smithfield, Rhode Island. I am a husband to my amazing wife and the owner of a local photography studio and independent web-hosting business. I picked up my first camera in 2008 when I joined a high school extracurricular multimedia class in Rhode Island where I was then hired at Riverz Edge Arts Studio, a nationally awarded non-profit organization, and one of Rhode Island’s most important educational based institutions. I spent over two years self-teaching myself photography on the job, as I fulfilled daily client projects ranging from commercial products furniture, fashion modeling, landscapes, photojournalism, weddings, and studio portraits.
In 2010 I turned freelance, traveling across the country and around the world to places such as Haiti, Japan, and South Korea. I further honed my photography skills focusing on street, travel, and candid life photography while studying the work of influential creators that inspired me. Nine years later in 2019, I established my first professional studio in Litchfield Connecticut as a local business, specializing in portrait photography and providing other various media services for both commercial clients and local businesses.
As a visual artist, gamer, and lover of technology, I pair those interests with my creative skills and learned graphic design along with side web development and administration for cPanel based hosting platforms. Since 2013 I have provided creative consultation for small businesses, helping them upgrade their office technology and modernizing their online website presence, not just visually, but also with up to code standards and security compliance. This leads me to create my own hosting platform where I can better serve all my clients with safer, faster, and more specialized service.
