I hold a four-year Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry from Skidmore College and have experience tutoring high school and university students in chemistry. Most of my tutoring has been one-on-one, where I’ve learned how to explain concepts in multiple ways, break things down step by step, and adjust my approach depending on how each student learns best. I focus on creating a supportive and encouraging environment so students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.

I tutor Spanish for beginner to intermediate learners, especially middle school and high school students who want extra support outside of class. I can help with homework, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and conversational practice and I’m happy to tailor sessions to what the student is currently learning in school. I started Spanish at age 12 and advanced through honors and AP-level coursework, completed Spanish courses in university, and have Spanish immersion experience. I currently hold a CEFR B2.1 Spanish certification and I am actively working toward C1 proficiency.
My teaching style is friendly, structured, and adaptable. I aim to make Spanish feel approachable and fun while still helping students make real progress and feel more confident speaking and understanding the language.
