As a dermatology resident with firsthand experience navigating the competitive world of medical school and residency applications, I understand how pivotal a compelling personal statement can be. I’ve spent years honing my writing and editing skills—not just through my own successful applications, but by helping peers and mentees articulate their unique stories with clarity, authenticity, and purpose. I have served on admissions committees for my own medical school, interviewed applicants, and this understanding helps me guide applicants in crafting narratives that are not only polished but truly impactful.

I offer personalized editing services for medical school and residency applicants, including comprehensive reviews of primary or secondary essays, personal statements, and ERAS experiences. Whether you’re struggling to find your voice or simply need a fresh set of eyes to refine your message, I work closely with each client to highlight their strengths, address any red flags, and ensure their writing reflects the professionalism and passion that defines a strong candidate. My goal is to help you tell your story in a way that’s both memorable and true to who you are—so that your application stands out in all the right ways. I also offer Step 1 and Step 2 tutoring (personally scored >260),

If you're looking for guidance from someone who's been through the process, understands the stakes, and genuinely cares about your success, I'm here to help. Together, we can make your application not just competitive, but compelling.

MCAT

MCAT

With a score in the 95th+ percentile on the MCAT, I bring both firsthand insight and tested strategies to help you reach your target score. I offer individualized tutoring that goes beyond just content review—I work with each student to create a customized study schedule that fits their timeline, learning style, and goals. Together, we’ll identify your weak areas, sharpen your test-taking strategies, and build a plan that keeps you on track and motivated. Whether you're just starting out or looking to boost your score, I’m here to help you study efficiently and effectively.
Personal Statements

Personal Statements

As a current dermatology resident, I understand how critical strong written communication is for advancing your medical career. I help future resident physicians and medical students elevate their personal statements, essays, and professional writing to reflect not just competence, but clarity of purpose and long-term vision. Through personalized editing, I work with you to articulate your goals, highlight your unique strengths, and position you as a standout candidate—whether you're applying to residency, medical school or pursuing leadership and academic opportunities within medicine. My goal is to help you tell your story in a way that supports both your immediate success and your long-term career development.
USMLE

USMLE

I scored above 260 on both the USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 exams, and I bring that same focused, high-yield strategy to the students I tutor. Over the past few years, I’ve worked with multiple medical students—many starting from struggling baseline scores—and have helped them improve their performance by more than 30 points. I understand that no two students are the same, and that success on the USMLE requires more than just memorization—it requires a strategic, personalized approach. My tutoring style is highly individualized. I start by working with each student to develop a study plan that fits their learning style, timeline, and personal strengths and weaknesses. Together, we build a realistic and efficient schedule, select the right resources, and focus on mastering high-yield concepts. From there, I guide students through their most challenging topics, reviewing practice questions in depth and teaching test-taking strategies that build both knowledge and confidence.
