I graduated about a year ago from NYU with a degree in economics and a minor in psychology. I decided soon after to pursue a law degree and started to prepare for the LSAT. In around 5 months of full-time studying, I achieved a score of 174 on the LSAT during the April exam, I and want to spread the knowledge I have about the exam to other prospective law students.

In the past, I have tutored while I was in college at the learning center, mainly in the math and economics area. Currently, I work at a tutoring center teaching ACT and SAT test prep. At the tutoring center, I mainly work with high school and college aged kids, and occasionally younger students as well. This has provided me with the skills needed to break down information to the simplest of terms, and has trained me to tailor approaches based on each individual student, as everyone understand and retains information differently. For the most part, these tutoring sessions have been private and semiprivate sessions, with a maximum of two students per session.

During the intensive time I spend preparing for the LSAT, I was able to figure out strategies in regard to pre-phrasing questions in the logical reasoning section to make answering them easier, as well as timing strategies to optimize number of correct answers, especially in the reading section. I have extensive notes on each question type in the logical reasoning section, as well as example questions from lawhub that match. I have also assisted my own tutor in many hours of his teaching. Now that the LSAT has eliminated the logic games part of the exam, achieving accuracy in these two sections have become more important than ever, and I believe I can help students of any level break down and digest the information. I intend to run through questions each question type at a time, and give students homework based on what we covered in session that day, so they can really familiarize themselves with the process of that particular type of problem solving.
