My favorite part about teaching and tutoring is the one-to-one interaction I have with a young learner. The most special moments in education to me have been the ones where I have noticed a student struggle and resist a concept and then come full circle a short time later. I have made countless connections with students and watching them grow and flourish is why I have committed my professional career to education.
I have extensive teaching experience in the field of social studies. I have taught AP US History for the last 7 years. In addition, I am a national scorer for the College Board AP Exam, so I am fully confident in all areas of the exam and what it takes for a student to score a 5!
