Hi! I'm Marina, and I am a second-year student studying accounting at Fairfield University! I specialize in tutoring K-12 students, especially in math. As an accounting major, numbers are truly my strong suit, and I'm confident supporting students in related subjects such as pre-algebra, algebra, general homework help, and even writing.

I've always loved teaching. In high school, I tutored peers in the Math Lab, helping students understand concepts, prepare for tests, and build confidence. I also worked in my school's Writing Center, where I guided students through essays, structure, and clear communication. As part of the Computer Science Honor Society, I would go to the district's elementary schools with my team to lead Hour of Code - an engaging activity elementary schoolers enjoyed while building their analytical skills. Outside the classroom, I led gymnastics lessons for kids ages 6-12, gaining experience working with younger learners and helping them stay engaged and motivated.

I bring patience, positivity, and clarity to every session. My goal is to help students truly understand the material - not just memorize it - and to make learning feel comfortable and stress-free. My approach is patient, clear, and always personalized. I break down concepts step by step and use simple, relatable examples to make challenging topics easier to understand.
