I have a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Education from St. Lawrence University, I also have a Master's degree in Education from the University of Bridgeport. I have been a high school science teacher from 1991-2006. During that time I taught Earth Science, Environmental Science and Chemistry. Since 2006 I have been working as a Geologist and Environmental Consultant at EMC. I have extensive knowledge in the remediation of soil and groundwater impacted by various contaminants.

While at EMC I trained over 1500 students in various remediation processes. I have been so successful that the Building Performance Institute (BPI) of New York has named me as a regional super proctor to aid others that were also training for BPI. Through my training my students have been able to pass written state tests and field exams for OSHA 10 and 30, Building Analyst, Quality Control Inspections, Healthy Homes, asbestos and lead remediation. I am very passionate about the helping our environment and teaching others how they can help.
My education, knowledge, life experiences, worked completed has set me up with a unique skills set, that has made me very successful as a facilitator of knowledge. I thoroughly enjoy teaching someone something new, especially when they have that epiphany moment and finally get it. With my passion for teaching and knowledge coupled with as easy going style that has lead me to be successful in reaching a wide range of students in completing their quest.
