Hello! My name is Elizabeth and I would love to be your tutor! A little about me, I went to Marist College to study Psychology and Special Education. After student teaching and recognizing my true love for the classroom, I went on to obtain my master's degree from Southern Connecticut State University. I am currently an elementary special education teacher specializing in working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
I believe in teaching all subject matter through engaging methods and therefore teaching the "whole child." I have six years of professional teaching experience and several years of tutoring children. I greatly enjoy working with children, but also enjoy working with children's parents/guardians in order to develop methods to assist their child. Collaboration is key as I find this to be vital in a successful learning experience.
I am greatly looking forward to hearing from you!
