I am a parent to two children who are currently in high school.
As a dedicated and passionate teacher, I create educational environments that are student centered and foster the social, emotional and intellectual growth of my students. I accomplish this by integrating Mindfulness techniques along with Growth Mindset tenets. I develop differentiated lessons to target varied learning styles. In measuring growth, I chart and organize data into an individualized portfolio.
My experience in the classroom has provided me with opportunities to work with students of varied learning, behavior and emotional variants. My passion for social emotional support in conjunction with my dedication to the success of the individual student has earned me much accolade from administration, parents, and students.
My dedication to providing top rate education runs deep. I am passionate about Growth Mindset tenets and setting up students for success. I achieve this through a commitment to making a connection with my students and promoting a strong sense of social emotional understanding. I know that as students grow in confidence, their desire to learn increases.
