I am taking my core Finance class in my MBA program with a professor who can only be described as less than helpful, and I felt totally lost as soon as the course began. I sought out the help of a professional tutor and am so grateful to have found Patrick. He is extremely knowledgable, but provides help by not only walking you through the basics but also by making the concepts accessible and understandable (even to a non-traditional MBA student like myself!). He allows you to structure your time however you see best, and I cannot overstate how reassuring his level of patience was. If you need to walk through the same problem multiple times, he doesn't just take you back through and re-hash the information--instead, he'll find a new way to describe it and will try to reach you through a different interpretation. He tries to give you a means to grasp the underlying concepts, not just the approach of solving one kind of problem (although he certainly does do that as well). I'm confident I would have failed this class were it not for Patrick's help. Instead I am walking away with a strong score on my midterm and final exams, and with a much better, more holistic appreciation and comprehension of finance. I would encourage you to not even consider looking further for another tutor!
