I'm a Principal Financial Analyst at a Fortune 500 medical device company and an MBA from the University of Connecticut, with ten-plus years of experience in FP&A, pricing, and commercial finance. In my day job I build forecasts, run executive-facing analyses, and translate complex financial data into decisions for senior leaders - the same skills students need to master in finance courses, on internships, and in interviews.
I tutor undergraduates, MBA students, and working professionals in three areas: finance and accounting fundamentals (financial statements, ratios, valuation basics), Excel and financial modeling (from clean spreadsheet hygiene to driver-based models and scenario analysis), and finance interview preparation (technicals, behaviorals, case-style questions for IB, FP&A, and corporate finance roles). Pricing strategy is part of my day-to-day, which makes me one of the few finance tutors who can actually help with pricing or revenue management coursework.
My approach is practical. I won't read you a textbook - I'll show you how the concept actually shows up in a real model, a real interview, or a real job. Sessions are structured around your specific goal: passing a class, building a model from scratch, or landing an offer. I work best with students who come ready with a problem to solve and leave with something they can use immediately.
