I teach you how to read the notes. We do not move on to rhythm until you are completely comfortable with reading the notes. I work at my student' pace - slow or fast, there are no deadlines and we do not rush through the learning process.
I try to make lessons enjoyable, not stressful. I am personally extremely calm and patient and only provide a positive learning experience.
To enhance lessons, and motivate students to practice, after the first lesson book, I will provide all of your music. When I give you a song I have paid anywhere from $3.99 to $9.99 for the piece of music. You are not charged for music and are given many, many pieces during the time you take lessons. I have a library of approx 5,000 pieces of music and we choose appropriate level music together. This makes piano lessons much more enjoyable. I have my students learn many different types of music with classical included. By learning many types of music, you will learn many different techniques. My goal for my students are to be eventually able to pick up any piece of music and learn it on your own.
Thank you for reading this, I hope to hear from you soon. P.S. I'm extremely flexible with scheduling issues.
