Hi, I'm Nava! I'm a native Hebrew speaker with over 25 years of experience teaching Hebrew. For 25 years, I taught Hebrew in a classroom in Israel setting to students ages 4-10. For over 10 years, I have also taught one-on-one lessons to both children and adults. In addition, I have experience teaching secular Bible studies to high school age students. I have a bachelor's degree in Bible studies and Jewish philosophy from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and a master's degree in special education from David Yellin College in Jerusalem.
I always tailor my teaching methods to the individual student. For younger kids, I use conversation, games, and fun tactics to make the lessons engaging. My young students genuinely look forward to their Hebrew lessons and leave with a smile on their face. I specialize in working with younger students who already have some ability to speak Hebrew but want to improve their spoken and written skills. With adults, I use conversation, exploration of Hebrew language media, and clear explanations of grammar to help them understand the structure of the language. I work both with adults who are Hebrew beginners and with those who want to improve their Hebrew skills.
