During my time as a student, I worked as a tutor for college courses and for K-12 students. I continued private tutoring as I began my teaching career. I have now been teaching for 7 years and tutoring for 14 years.

I have now been teaching for 7 years and tutoring for 14 years.
I have taught both middle and high school math in Rhode Island and New York. Subjects I have the most experience teaching or tutoring include: middle school math, pre-algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Precalculus and SAT Math Test Prep.
I have worked with students who struggle with math and students who seek enhancement to get ahead. I am passionate about getting to know the learning style of my students in order to best meet their needs. If a lesson isn’t making sense for them, I won’t just move on, I will teach it another way. Students I have worked with have found success in improvement assessment scores, filling in curriculum gaps and getting ahead through higher level thinking and problem solving.
