During my years in education, I have taught middle school math through advanced Pre-Calculus. My focus is developing strong conceptual understanding that isn't just memorized, but understood. A main goal that I have for all learners is that they can complete the math correctly, AND also explain why they are using the concept and how it works. I have experience teaching in a traditional classroom, with small group sessions, and with individual tutoring. This experience includes subjects such as Algebra (1 and 2), Pre-Calculus, Geometry, SAT Prep, and Praxis Math Prep.
