Data Analysis

I have applied data analysis professionally across multiple industries — at Alibaba's Ele.me building behavioral segmentation pipelines, at Gate.io conducting competitive analysis on 50K+ users, and at Mercer Consulting delivering C-suite analytical presentations. At Yale, I work with complex clinical datasets including NHANES population health data. I am fluent in the full analysis workflow: data cleaning, exploratory analysis, statistical modeling, and visualization for both technical and non-technical audiences. I help students build the analytical mindset that turns raw numbers into decisions, not just homework answers.

Data Science

I am currently pursuing an M.S. in Health Informatics at Yale University, with a B.S. in Data Science from the University of Washington (GPA 3.86). My coursework spans machine learning, deep learning, biostatistics, and applied ML in healthcare. Beyond academics, I have hands-on industry experience as a Data Mining Engineer at Alibaba's Ele.me, where I built predictive models and ML pipelines processing 50–100 GB of data daily. I co-authored a peer-reviewed publication in a Q1 Springer journal on NLP and machine learning methods. Web Design

I have built and deployed full-stack web applications professionally, including a live SaaS product (JobPilot) using Next.js 14, TypeScript, React, and Flask with a PostgreSQL backend — currently live in production. My web development experience spans frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) and backend (Python/Flask, REST APIs, database design), giving me the ability to teach both sides of the stack. I have also built data visualization dashboards and interactive UI components as part of academic and professional projects at Yale and Alibaba. I teach web design and development from the ground up — whether you need help understanding how HTML and CSS work together, debugging JavaScript, or building your first React component, I focus on making concepts click through hands-on building rather than passive reading.
