My teaching philosophy is defined by a 20-year commitment to mentoring youth. As a long-term volunteer coach with the NJB organization, I have spent two decades guiding Junior High and High School students through intense, fast-paced environments. This coaching background, combined with years of providing one-on-one tutoring in both in-person and online settings, has shaped an approachable and patient teaching style. While this professional tutoring venture marks a new chapter, my decades of experience in the "classrooms" of the court and the cockpit have equipped me to break down complex concepts into digestible, actionable steps.
My Goal
In this semi-retirement phase, I aim to leverage my leadership and technical experience to inspire students to discover the wonders of math. I provide a supportive environment where students can tackle Algebra and Geometry with confidence, drawing from my history of managing multi-million dollar strategic portfolios and navigating the skies.
